I was told it was used by factory fire and security personal during WWII. The factory this helmet was used at was Henschel & Sohn of Kassel Germany. They manufactured the Panzer III, Tiger I, Tiger II tanks. Also fighter, bomber, and reconnaissance air crafts, along with rockets and missiles. They employed 8000 workers and ran 24 hours a day. The helmet still looks good. Most of the paint is still present, and the company logo decal is fully intact minus some minor wear. The name Willi Gras is printed inside on the liner. Chin strap and buckles still look real good, no dents or holes present. The item “German WWII Guard Factory Security Helmet” is in sale since Thursday, July 19, 2018.
