WW2 German Wehrmacht M42 Helmet – Mediterranean Camouflage. Brilliant helmet in untouched condition with liner and chinstrap, which are quite dry as you would expect. Came from a dealer who bought it from an Italian farmer who had found it in one of his outbuildings many years before. A really good and quite rare helmet in as found condition, which has never been touched and displays really well. Always nice to be able to relate helmets to a particular campaign – I have collected a few over the years and rather prefer them to something perfect with no provenance.
