Original WWII era German M40 combat helmet. The helmet has obviously been re painted at some point. It still has the original liner and chin strap , although they are not In very good condition and the leather Is fragile , see the pictures. All the split pins and washers are still In place. I don’t see any dents or creases. May have some original paint under the orange , but I cant say for sure. A nice restoration project for someone so Inclined. Its marked on the skirt but I cant make It out due to the thick paint. Please see the pictures as they are part of and the best description of this helmet. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
