The Liner rim appears to be signed and dated, but not strongly, and in a tight spot (the other side is pictured) – We wanted to preserve the originality by NOT removing the liner to get the picture of the stamp. This all original M1942 German WWII helmet is in very good overall condition, and even includes the original leather chin strap and liner! There is some obvious light surface patina and what looks to be the remnants of some original paint/decals. PLEASE see our high-resolution photos and use them as your guide to exact detail and condition. These don’t show up in complete, unrestored, uncleaned condition very often. This is as close as you’ll find to battlefield fresh 75 years ago. Priced for quick sale.
