WWII-era German Heer soldier plaque. Shows use, light scratches, staining, and wear. Metal parts have light corrosion and discoloration. The metal helmet has a dark spot on the face. Complete with its wooden backing. It has a built-in wall hanger on the reverse of the wooden plaque. The helmet retains its decal detail. 6 5/16″ x 3 1/16″ without hanger. Beautiful WW2 German trophy award. Separately cast, metal helmet and the K98 were soldered into one solid piece. Helmet – 1 5/8″ high, 2″ wide, 2 3/8 long. K98 – 4 7/8 long. Broken off piece of helmet front that starts at where helmet meets the K98 to the 12 o’clock position. Nice condition with patina. Good detail, well made solid piece of a M35 rolled rim helmet and a K98 Mauser action rifle. Helmet and K98 were separately cast with amazing detail and connected. Check out my other WW2 items.
