Original German WW2 M35 Normandy Camoflage Helmet. This is a totally untouched find. This has some provenance which will be available. Two toned paint work, dry and splintered, some rust coming through and very dusty. The liner is perfect, original strap that is broken at one end. A helmet of great character from N. M42 Atlantic Wall Camoflage Helmet, Original. This helmet was sent to me by my late Uncle in Italy 15 years ago. I do not know where the previous owner acquired it. Liner is original but a bit dry with a few fingers damaged. My only concern is the lines of the Camo have straight edges like it was taped and then painted. The paint looks old and does not smell but I cannot say for certain that the paint is wartime period done. The shell is perfect with later war rough finish. No dents that I can see but has a few scratches which are expected. There are no decals or hidden insignia. Very nice M42 helmet.
