WWII WW2 German Original M34 Civil Police Fire Helmet Combat Stahlhelm?? Outstanding example that is in very nice overall condition. Nice black paint finish on the exterior with no dent or dings. Interior is just as nice with the original liner, pad and chinstrap. The liner is stamped size 56 and even retains the original drawstring to tighten. On the edge of the liner it also retains the leather tabs to attach the leather neck cover that you see sometimes. Fine helmet that would make a great addition to any collection! Many people list these helmets as WW2, but even though they are identical, that’s not true. This is a post-war helmet. The condition is very good. This helmet is more accurate than the wartime ones. It has smoother sides and is made of high-quality steel. Much later, somewhere around the 60s, the Germans began to make helmets and paint them white.

Pre-WW2 German fire police (Feurschutzpolizei) or Fire Service helmet. Model 1934 civic style helmet. The helmet has an aluminum alloy fireman comb on top that is a little loose (has a little bit of play). Has two seven-hole air vents on each side of helmet. Has a German state style metal insignia on front of helmet. Worn condition liner and chinstrap, however, still in decent condition. Overall, an interesting, most likely mid-1930s state fire service helmet.

Aluminum German ww2 police / fire helmet with 8 tab liner and chin strap and leather neck skirt. Vents are single screen type liner is marked size 56 also the number 85 marked on the liner, there is an RO on the head pad and some medical tape in the inside brim with writing rather faded I can not read, the liner also has the name H. Volgt written on it. The helmet has on each side a small old fighters chevron which is unusual since typically that would be for a ww1 vet. Shell is pretty good no obvious dents and the rim band has the number 90 stamped in it, I couldn’t find any other markings. A very unusual helmet.
