Welcome from Red Brick Depot. We are offering an original German WW2 M35 steel helmet, recovered from former German positions on the Narva Front. A powerful battlefield relic in untouched, as-found condition. This helmet is a genuine M35 combat helmet, size 64, excavated from World War II battlefield positions near Narva. The helmet shows heavy combat and ground damage consistent with long-term exposure and wartime use. Traces of an original decal are still visible under UV light, confirming the helmet was once factory-applied with insignia. No post-war restoration or artificial enhancement has been done. Model: German M35 steel helmet. Period: World War II. Finish: Original wartime paint remnants. Decal: Visible remains under UV light. Find location: Narva area (former German positions). ? Relic / battlefield condition. Heavy corrosion and pitting. Multiple holes and structural damage. Large loss of steel on one side. No liner or chinstrap present. Authentic WWII German M40 steel helmet, battlefield recovered from the Eastern Front. This helmet shows dramatic combat damage, with a fragmentation or bullet hole to the crown and several smaller rust perforations. Despite the damage, the metal remains solid and stable, making it a strong display piece. Welcome to the Red Brick Depot! Original German WW2 M35 steel helmet, size 66. Found near Gulbene, Latvia – a known Eastern Front battlefield area. Solid and strong shell. Exterior retains areas of original. Paint, faded to bluish tones from soil exposure. Small section inside also retains original paint (which looks more blue). Rest of interior repainted. Post-recovery by the same person who welded the shell. Cleaned with oxalic acid and preserved with WD-40 spray. Some small cracks and mini-holes from rust. No visible stamps due to corrosion. ? Origin & History: This helmet was found near Gulbene, in northeastern Latvia. In summer 1944, the area saw heavy fighting as Soviet forces advanced during the Baltic Offensive, pushing German Army Group North westward. These retreat battles preceded the encirclement of German forces in the Courland Pocket later that year. Gulbene was an important junction point, and control of it was vital for troop and supply movements during the retreat toward the Latvian coast. ?
