The product is a German WWII civil defense helmet that comes with a full liner and straps, making it a complete and authentic piece from the era. This helmet, originating from the United States, is an original period item that holds historical significance in the theme of militaria. With its unique design and origin, this helmet would make a valuable addition to any collection related to WW II memorabilia. Brought back from Germany by my father in law.

Original WWII M42 EF64 helmet with liner and field replacement cloth chinstrap. There is a gold rectangle painted on the front, possibly from a kid’s playtime use post-war. Liner leather is heavily flaking and very floppy and the cloth chinstrap is torn but still displays over the brim. This helmet has a slight green tint to the paint and displays very nicely. International buyers: Do NOT ask me to lie on custom’s forms.

Helmet has been painted but is unique in the sense that it has soldiers German cursive writing On back it’s faint but reads out to be Wilhelm München so his name and hometown! Really cool and helmets in pretty good condition the picture indeed is a little enhanced but that’s about all I can do it’s an inter war helmet so looks like a ww1 but was used ww2 really cool piece to have.
