Ww2 German M-42 sd helmet. Manufacture stamps on the shell is slightly seen but they not clear. Helmet still has lot of paint and decal, on the side present small crack. Metal liner is size 57 with size stamp on the band. On the leather seen ink stamp 57. Leather is still soft, it show wear but condition is very good.

Here is an original German WWII M-42 combat helmet. The helmet is a size 66 shell with what I think is a size 59 liner. The paint is original and in very nice shape. The liner has some damage from use as shown in the photos. The liner appears to be original to the helmet. I think the liner band, which is maker-marked, is dated 1944, but it’s hard to read. This is a fairly late-war ckl helmet with what appears to be some period use. I can’t make out any dome stamp.
