Rare Polizei German M40 Double Decal Helmet manufactured by F. This helmet is steel with rolled bottom. The helmet has some condition issues due to age and use. The decals are slightly worn but noticeable. The helmet appears to have the soldiers name written in pencil on the neck guard. The neck guard is also stamped 4755. The left ear guard is stamped FT64. This is an original ww 2 German manufactured m35 luftwaffe helmet. The helmets inside brim is size stamped SE64 along with the lot number 429A denoting production by the. SACHSISCHE EMAILLERWEREK LAUTER FACTORY in Germany. The helmet retains its original dark blue/grey factory paint finish. The sides of the helmet have original luftwaffe and national colors decals. The interior retains its original leather liner with early reinforced aluminum band. The liners original drawstring is still intact but the chinstrap is missing. The helmets split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
