This Is A Late War Example In It’s Factory Grey Finish, Most Of Which Remains. The Leather Trim Is Stained But Complete (Stiching Failed). The Chin Stap May Be A More Recent Addition, But Has An Age About It. I Have Added A New Waxed Draw String. No Dents, Spilts Or Rust Issues. This helmet is an original WW2 German m40 Stahlhelm. It was repainted in the Normandy color pattern. By a German helmet restorer in Texas. The colors are taken from an original Hanomag 251 halftrack. The helmet liner is a European made reproduction. The size of shell is 64 and liner size is 57. It has a Luftwaffe eagle and a reproduction helmet net. The other hardware and chinstrap are originals. The helmet shell has no pits on the outside and also no dents. The perfect helmet for a Collector or a reenactor. Which stands for F. The lot code is 168. See photos for markings.

Helmet has been painted but is unique in the sense that it has soldiers German cursive writing On back it’s faint but reads out to be Wilhelm München so his name and hometown! Really cool and helmets in pretty good condition the picture indeed is a little enhanced but that’s about all I can do it’s an inter war helmet so looks like a ww1 but was used ww2 really cool piece to have.
