It doesn’t get much better than this for those who collect folk art, trench art, or military items. This paint job on this is definitely older. The liner is in rough condition, but some of it is there. Just pulled from a building in Cumberland Maryland. Don’t miss out on this one.

WWII GERMAN CHICKEN WIRE and PAINTED CAMOFLAGED LUFTWAFFE HELMET. Helmet used but in good condition. Each parts is original. Helmet has original liner. I nside the helmet marking: 1248 and ET64 (see picture). I showed this helmet to a specialist. His opinion of the rarity of this helmet is that chicken wire camouflage was first made with it. The second was camouflage with yellow paint. This is clearly visible at close magnification (see picture). This helmet could be used in air defense units. I had made pictures that serve as an additional description. I do not mark merchandise value below value price or as a gift.
