A very nice m35 former DD army helmet, you can see the apple green paint coming through the black camo paint on this one. No evidence of decals under the paint, we’re probably removed when made a camo. Chinstrap is dated 1940 and the shell is Q64 marked. Overall a very nice honest untouched helmet.

Up for your consideration is an Original German M40 that was used by Finland. The shell is marked EF66 and Lot number 133 (looks like that to me but it is heavily stamped). The helmet was used by Finland and has had a Finnish liner and chinstrap installed. This helmet has had extra holes drilled in the side to accommodate the Finnish chinstrap. The helmet was repainted by Finland as well. The helmet shell is 100% original. Also, the 3 pad liner allows me to wear this helmet and I wear a 61. Thanks so much for looking!

Original WWI German M16 Steel Helmet – WWII-Era Reissue – Size 66. This listing is for an original German M16 Stahlhelm helmet from World War I, later reissued during the early 1930s-1940s period. The helmet is size-stamped “66” inside the shell and retains its iconic design with original side lugs, used during WWI for mounting a frontal armor plate. At some point in the early interwar or WWII era, this helmet appears to have been repainted in black, a common practice for reissued equipment. Faint traces of an old decal outline are visible on one side-likely from use by civil, paramilitary, or early military forces during the transitional period. WWI-era German M16 helmet. Interior size stamp: “66”. No liner or chinstrap. Black overpaint from later reissue. Ghost outline of decal visible (not intact). Surface wear, oxidation, and age-appropriate patina throughout. This helmet is offered as-is for historical display and collecting purposes. It has not been cleaned or restored. Please examine all photos closely to assess condition. This helmet has not had the extra holes drilled in the front and retains its original Hungarian configuration unlike many helmets for sale by other dealers. The helmet was repainted by Finland. The liner and chinstrap are Finnish replacements. You can see the original Hungarian paint peaking through. The helmet is 100% original. Thanks so much for looking!

Original drawstring cord, the liner has the soldier’s name inside in ink, the chinstrap is complete with no repairs, it has the makers mark and date 1940 at the tip. WW2 German M35 (riveted air vents) Helmet Danish Reissue. Helmet is stamped ET62. Liner stamped CF with the Danish crown. Shell has some extra holes riveted in the top where they had an aluminium comb attached at one point. Leather is nice and supple. Great collectors piece as these Danish reissues are extremely rare in their own sense since they were only issued for a couple years until they switched styles. These were then sent out for civil use. The rivets can also be easily drilled out and filled in if one wishes to restore it.
