An original World War Two Single Decal M35 German Helmet shell and liner with original sawdust camouflage. This is a Heer M35 helmet which was issued with a single eagle decal during the war. The helmet shell is NS64 maker and size marked. The shell is also steel batch marked D219. It was period time painted with “sawdust” camouflage paint. About 90% of the original paint is still present. The eagle was most probably overpainted period time and later recovered. Original leather liner with original cord. Size “57” marked and EW named. NS is the maker code for the Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke factory in the Germany city of Schwerte. Size 64 is a size that can accommodate liners from 56cm to 58cm.
