Just a great rare World War 2 German Camouflage Helmet with rare helmet carrier. This helmet is a Vet bring back from Sicily and I bought it from the Nephew who is in his 70s himself. I don’t know his unit, but he was a Combat Engineer laying and defusing mine fields. The chinstrap is whole with wear, no marking on it that I could find. I have not messed with the helmet in any way. Looks like the shield has been partly painted over and I will let the new owner decide if they want to try to strip that off to show the rest of the decal or not.
