German WWII Wehrmacht M42 Helmet – Single Decal – 66 Shell – Size 58cm or 7 1/4 – Excellent Repro Tan & Water Camouflage Cover with Black Rubber Innertube Band for attaching camo follage. This is an Excellent Condition M42 German Helmet with a Very Good Condition leather liner in size 58. The German Leather Chin Strap is original to the helmet as well as the leather liner. The Repro Excellent Condition Tan & Water Camouflage Helmet Cover attaches with a draw string tightener around the Helmet rim. The Black Rubber Innertube Strap helps secure & form the Cover to the Helmet. This is probably the best condition Feldgrau (Field Green) German Helmet I have ever owned in 43+ years collecting. The Tan & Water Camouflage Helmet Covers and Smocks were worn often by Snipers and Panzergrenadier Recon Units.
