British Military Collectables, Royal Memorabilia. Century to the present Day. Preserving the past for the future. TOTALLY ORIGINAL GERMAN WWII ARMY M35 SD COMBAT HELMET. A Nice Example of a totally Original WWII German M35 Single decal Raw edge combat helmet. Perhaps best described as an entry level but good example of a M35 Helmet. The shell is without damage with areas of surface rust and combat usage, the left side are the remains of the original single decal shield with much flakes of silver remaining. The Decal is present but the detail has been scratched out – probably as an act of denazification. The liner fits closely to the shell and shows no signs of ever having been removed, so totally original to this helmet. Shell stamped with serial number 3235. No visible maker or size mark but appears to be a size 64. The leather has been dressed at some time with leather preservative. With a split seam. No chin strap present. All in all, a good example of a M35 combat used WWII war helmet. Size possibly size 64. Condition: combat worn usage, please view photos to judge for yourself.
