VTG German steel helmet 1940s West Germany w. I don’t know if it was used in WW2 or after that by the German Bundeswehr. Strange to be a German helmet but presents ownership rubric “Seith” and USA written by hand in white. Condition : Signs of oxidation and use, camouflage cover with signs of use and small tear on the front as shown in the images The entire helmet is made of steel and weighs 1400 grams. Dimensions: Height: 16cm – 6.3. Length: 29cm – 11.42. Width: 22cm – 8.66. Inner circumference: 76cm – 29.92. Weight: 1400 grams – 3.10 lbs. Fantastic collectable militaria item for your collection.

Vintage West German Bundesgrenzschutz Romer Helmet Police Riot Motorcycle

Up for sale is a Vintage Romer Bundesgrenzschutz Riot/Motorcycle Helmet with Neck Guard and Visor. The helmet is used but in good condition. There are scuffs and scratches to the helmet, it was definitely used, the camera did not capture them well. The sun shield does have cracking. The leather neck guard is in good condition and snaps into the helmet, they snaps also in good condition. The visor can flip up. The chin strap padding is in good condition. The chip strap is a button release type and it is tested and working. There is a name written on the inner liner. The size of the liner is 54-56. I believe the date of manufacture is 5/87. I believe this was used by the Bundesgrenzschutz as that is their crest on the front of the helmet. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

M56 West German M1 Helmet Liner XRARE Untouched Original

You’ll never see one for sale again! This is the 1st issue M56 (1956) German Helmet Liner with original chinstrap. The original M56 German helmet for the Bundeswehr was modeled after the US M1 helmet with a metal exterior shell and removable fiberglass inner liner. However, in less than 1 year, by 1957, the German Bundeswehr discontinued their use in favor of the M57 Helmet which was still an M1 style, but with integral liner. The M57 shell was made in different sizes, 53, 55, 57, 59 and 61. Whereas the M56 was only made in one size with an adjustable sweatband inside the liner to account for the sizes 53-61 (as seen printed inside this liner). See the liner proof stamps “BUND” for Bundeswehr. Guaranteed 100% original and extremely rare out of an advanced helmet collection.

Has the green painted shell with the separate rim attached at the base. The interior includes the brown leather linger with black rubber pads. Also includes the leather Y straps.
