WW2 german helmet original. This is an M35 Stahlhelm that was recovered from the site of the main German Airfield at Pitomnik, Stalingrad. (I acquired this from a team of Russian Battlefield diggers). Shell is intact but pitted. Original paint is still visible. Remains of liner is dried out and rotted.
