Offered today is a lovely example of a Model 1942 (M42) German steel helmet from the Second World War. This helmet was chromed by the Veteran who was active in the motorcycle community following his service. Faint traces of a Swaz decal on the front from the helmets life in the motorcycle community – I imagine it could be removed with a product like goo-be-gone if you wished too. Unlike most chromed examples, this helmet retains its original liner and chinstrap, valuable items themselves if you wish to part it out. The liner is in nice condition with a small amount of the chinstrap missing as can be seen in the photographs I have provided. Draw string has been partially broken/small part missing as can be seen.
