WW2 Original German M40 helmet from the Kurland Pocket battlefield. An original German helmet was found during excavations of a German trench on the battlefield. Battle for Kurland Pocket, autumn 1944. The helmet’s metal is in normal condition, despite having lain in the ground for over 80 years.
