For your consideration is an all original World War Two German Helmet (M42). All three liner rivets remain intact The interior of the helmet has a genuine M31 tan leather liner with all eight of it’s original fingers and tie string. The liner itself shows appropriate wear and use including the name of the soldier who likely owned it “Hirt”. The reverse neck guard is stamped with it’s lot number “2407” and the left side apron is manufacture stamped ET 64 indicating a nice large size 64 and the helmet being made by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz. A perfect example of a genuine un-messed with German helmet from the front. UPDATE: Further research into the chinstrap ink stamp has shown it’s likely an LLG Hessen.
