Original shell restored German M40 helmet Stahlhelm DAK tan camo. The shell is an original German M40 variant that was restored to specs of use by the DAK or Deutsche Afrika Korps. Everything was done historically accurate, no visible markings sadly but is a very nice weight, look and feel helmet. Inside is a repro liner complete with chinstrap. Liner shows a 57 for the size. Meaning it’s probably a size 64 helmet shell with a size 57 liner. The dome stamp I believe is also an after print. Still cool to have as not many choose to put it there when restoring an original piece. The helmet is solid and restored with genuine material. Let me know if you have any questions.
