Made by Quist (Q66) with lot number:31177, this helmet is a great example of a camo used in the Italian theatre of war. The decal was carefully removed during the war having been clearly visable under the tan and green over spray paint, the leather is nice and supple (liner never removed) and has a nice supple 1938 dated chinstrap. EDIT: Forgot to mention, it is twice named!! Once to Obergefrieter Brandt on the skirt and again written onto the liner!
