Aluminum German ww2 police / fire helmet with 8 tab liner and chin strap and leather neck skirt. Vents are single screen type liner is marked size 56 also the number 85 marked on the liner, there is an RO on the head pad and some medical tape in the inside brim with writing rather faded I can not read, the liner also has the name H. Volgt written on it. The helmet has on each side a small old fighters chevron which is unusual since typically that would be for a ww1 vet. Shell is pretty good no obvious dents and the rim band has the number 90 stamped in it, I couldn’t find any other markings. A very unusual helmet.
