Original WW2 German EREL Vulkanfiberhelme that was exported and used by the Chilean army during WW2 and after. However, during this time Germany needed its steel helmets since they were preparing for war with Poland. Instead Germany offered to export M35 Vulkanfiberhelme and Czechoslovakian Vz. 32 which Chile accepted. This example is in fairly good condition besides the missing chin strap and features a later replacement liner from the 1950s instead of the EREL liner which would’ve been there when first imported into Chile. Very rare and hard to find helmet, would be perfect for any serious helmet collector.
