Finland WW2 issued German M1935 model helmet fitted out with Finnish leather liner and chinstrap. German WW2 made helmet shell is stamped EF 64 along the side and #3844 on inside rear rim. Dents free and cracks free helmet shell. 49,000 helmets to Finland for the Continuation War. Additionally, approximately 2,000 Finns served in the waffen elite troops German WW2 Wiking Division. An interesting helmet, Finnish intact leather liner remains quite supple and liner/suspension system is also entirely intact. 3 split rivets all have their backing washers as pictured. Do not see any markings up inside the top crown of the helmet. Finnish leather chinstrap is stiff and shows some surface cracking to the leather. Interesting how the Finnish leather chinstrap is mounted to the liner sides with “D” rings. As for the Finnish camouflage painted flames, those are really cool and helmet displays wonderfully. Estate helmet just as I acquired and displayed it. Please review the pictures for exact condition. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
