Combat steel helmet of the WWll Polish army, Wz31. It was manufactured at the Polish metallurgical plant Huta Ludwikow during the period from 1935 to 1939. By the beginning of World War II, only 300 thousand copies of this helmet were supplied for the needs of the Polish army. This helmet was found at the site of defensive battles between the Polish army and the German Wehrmacht in mid-September 1939. The helmet is partially restored, the iron is solid. According to the stamp, the helmet was produced at the Polish metallurgical enterprise Huta Ludwikow in April 1939. A very rare item for the collection.
