The helmet has been cleaned of unnecessary paint. There are remnants of decals. Outside of the helmet there is a lot of native paint from the WWII period. WW2 Steel/zinc banded liner. Complete with original felt band and leather, the leather has been dyed for use by the Norwegian army post war but the colour is more dark brown than the usual red colour – See photos. Has the usual wear at the edges of leather. The date on the liner is 1942. [Continue]
