The helmet was cleaned using sandblasting, leaving clean metal. This is a preparation for further restoration. Very good item for your helmet restoration project.

Restored Relic WW2 German M42 Stalhelm Combat Helmet CKL64 Stamped Chinstrap. The helmet is stamped 2564 on the back rim and CKL64 on the left. Liner and chinstrap are weathered reproductions. The chinstrap is stamped R. Nice refurbished original M42 shell.
