For your consideration is is an Original WW2 German M42 Helmet Combat Steel NS66 Liner Black. Thank you for looking! Helmet is a M42, its been painted black post war. The liner and chinstrap are period originals but have been dyed red brown for use by the Norwegian Army. The original pins that hold the leather to the band are paper clip type these were added by the Norwegians when the helmets were refurbished for their use in the late 40s/ 50s.
