Original WWII German Army Elite M40 helmet with battle damage. The helmet had little outside finish, but what paint there is is dark green Elite? The helmet liner is complete and marked size 58, only half of the original chin strap is present. There is a bullet hole in the left rear that went through and hit the liner. Spots of discoloration are on the liner. Helmet is marked EF66 on the side and 66 on the rear skirt. Everything is original WWII. A nice original helmet with battle damage. This helmet is from my personal collection of many years, see my other helmet listings. Overall condition is VG+ except the finish on the outside. A unique war relic. There are darker spots of discoloration around the area of the liner next to the bullet hole.
