WWII German Helmet Liner. This is an original WWII German M1931 helmet liner system. The leather liner is a size 58; to be paired with a size 66 helmet shell. Its zinc band showcases a production stamp by Schuberth Werke, K. Braunschweig, but no date is visible. The leather is very soft and supple, but has been dyed reddish-brown by the Norwegians.
