Perfectly Restored WWII German M40 Helmet & Liner Set With Special Lot No. (ET64)
WWII German Helmet Set. This original WWII German M40 helmet has been painstakingly restored back to its original (and highly desirable) factory configuration, and then aged to simulate moderate combat use. The helmet’s inside brim is size stamped ET64 lot number 5162, denoting 1941 production by the Eisenhüttenwerke, Thale factory – and more importantly use by the most desirable branch among collectors. The helmet was completely stripped of its old paint and then textured and painted with the perfect shade of feldgrau for this style of helmet. The liner consists of an original 1941-dated size 57/64 liner band that has been fitted with all new genuine leather. This is the ideal helmet for a very particular reenactor or the collector looking to fill a gap in their collection. Use the larger picture option to view all the details of this item.
