This is an original WW2 German M40 steel helmet, also known as a Stahlhelm. The helmet features a Q66 mark indicating that its size is 66 and was manufactured by Quist. The helmet shell has been repainted but some of its original paint, along with some heavy pitting in the dome, is still present underneath. [Continue]
