II German Helmet with Original Eagle decal. The Helmet has minor surface rust, nothing bad. The leather headband is still in the helmet. It shows the sweat marks of the soldier who wore it. The liner is not in very good shape but it is more or less still intact. This helmet was given to me as a gift on my 16 th birthday from. My uncle back in 1966. In 1944 and 1945. When he gave me the helmet, i was told it came from a boy not too much older than me. He did not give any more detail than that. I know nothing about this helmet except i have owned it for 53 years.
