A very nice example of a smaller-sized German M. Second World War Campaign in Normandy. To a very good almost 75% all-over matt field-grey finish. This smashing piece of headgear is in lovely condition. Complete with tight pins and a superb & very clean. Size 54 stamped original pigskin liner. Bearing a black oval acceptance stamp inside the crown. But sadly missing its chinstrap, this lovely-looking. Un-messed about little lid. On the rear inside flange. A good looking little WW-II German combat helmet. Located on a farm in Northern France last year. There are some small areas of surface rust on the outer crown. Which would clean up well, but we have opted to leave this. The same condition as it was originally. Found & sourced in 2019. Headgear item for sale only..
