This 2nd pattern Tropical Pith Helmet dated 1942 shows slight period use. Liner, chinstrap and both Badges in excellent condition. This is the type used by Rommels Afrika Korps and in Italy and the Mediterranian campaigns. The National Tricolour Shield rates at 97% as the Heer Adler rates slightly better. The Helmet displays well and is in excellent overall condition a must have in any collection.
