This is a really decent WWII GERMAN M35 HELMET LINER. NAMED, and Dated 1939. This is a size 57 made for the ever popular size 64 helmet. Typical aluminum band construction with 8 finger leather liner and drawstring. Square D rings, as this was only made for the M35 helmet that was last produced in 1939. Leather is very supple, So this is the last year for this design. The M40 featured a steel liner band and rounded chinstrap rings. The name on the liner has the first and last name. But both are hard to distinguish. This would be a nice addition to any M35 helmet shell, and getting really hard to find in this condition. Thank you for looking!
