Original German M35 Helmet complete with liner and chinstrap. It has a rough grey/green camo overpaint. Liner pins still have the internal retaining washers. Chinstrap is there but has two old period repairs. Liner is in good condition showing use and some sweat staining and has its original drawstring. I believe the helmet is a size 64 but cannot fully read stamping due to camo overpaint on inside skirt of helmet. Left side of helmet has what looks like the remnants of a decal applied over the overpaint. The overpaint is rough and the decal apparently did not adhere well or was removed later in the war to reduce the helmet visibility to an enemy. A good example fresh from an estate.
