WWII German Helmet, Original, M35 ET68 Shell with Liner/Chinstrap. German Helmet complete with original paint scheme, shell size ET68, correct helmet liner with either goat or sheep skin, draw string, leather chinstrap. Please look at the stamping. There are two, lot number and manufacturers stamp with helmet size (ET68). Virtually no rust, there is no decal as they were no longer permitted towards the end of the war. The paint scheme is a tri-color but the helmet was darkened. One of the tongues of the leather liner is partially broken. This helmet was definitely used to the end of the war, yet for its use, it’s in very good condition. The helmet is anywhere from 82 to 87 years old as of 2022.
