This is a very nice clean tight M-42 german helmet. Shows wear and combat use. Rivets are original to the helmet. Liner is very nice for its age. Chin strap shows heavy wear and use, not marked that I can see. This piece has been in my collection for over 25 years. So you need to be your own judge on that.
